Why live merch works for Phoenix events
At a convention booth, a resort program or a spring training build, the thing you're competing for is attention. People stop because something is being made in front of them. That moment gets you photos, conversations and a reason for people to stay near your booth or activation.
What to print
- Tees for volume, printed with screen printing or DTF.
- Caps for anything outdoors. In the Valley sun they get worn on the spot.
- Embroidered pieces for resort dinners and VIP rooms.
- Totes and drinkware for crowds that already own the tee.
How to plan the station
Decide where the line goes before you decide where the press goes. Keep the design menu to three or four options so decisions happen in the queue, not at the table. Outdoors, shade the line as well as the station, because people won't stand in the sun for a free shirt. And tell us the rush times, like the end of a keynote or the hour before first pitch, so we can staff for them.
Phoenix planning
Phoenix details that change the plan
Season first. The winter peak fills resorts and ballparks, and summer pushes outdoor events to mornings and evenings. Then the venue: a Convention Center booth needs electrical ordered through the venue, while a resort lawn needs a tent and a power source.
The gear drives in from our Fullerton shop the day before, and each station needs about 10×10 ft and two 120V circuits.
Short version: decide what the merch has to do before you decide what it is. At a Convention Center booth it has to move people through quickly and be seen from the aisle. At a private party in Tempe it has to feel personal. Tell us which one you're running and we'll size the station to fit.
