Live screen printing is the oldest trick in the kit, and it's live t-shirt printing the way it started: a screen for each color, a press, and a printer pulling ink by hand while the crowd watches. It's the right call when one design in one to three colors has to go on a lot of shirts, like a show day at Phoenix Convention Center or a festival run.
All of it travels from our Fullerton shop: presses, flash dryers, ink, blanks, tables and the crew. The truck heads east on the I-10 to Phoenix the day before, and a standard two-press station clears 100+ shirts an hour at full speed.
Why screen printing for a live Phoenix event
- Speed at volume: once the screens are burned, the press only waits on the guest.
- A real show: the squeegee pull is what people crowd in to see.
- Bold color: one to three colors, laid down dense enough to read from across a convention aisle.
- Heat planning: a flash dryer and the Valley sun make a hot tent, so outdoor presses in summer run in the morning or after dark.
It's one of five methods we run, and it pairs with a live DTF station when you want full-color art or names in the same footprint.
