Our live hat bar in Phoenix (you'll also see it called a patch bar) is a wall of blank caps, a tray of patch designs made for your event and a heat press. Each guest picks a cap, chooses a patch, and a crew member presses it on while they watch. Caps come in trucker or dad-hat styles, whichever blanks you choose. It's build-your-own, so it pulls a crowd without anyone having to sell it.
In Phoenix the cap is also the most useful thing we can hand someone. Outdoors at a spring training park, a golf event or a Westgate pop-up, it goes straight on a head. Indoors at a resort reception or an Old Town takeover, choosing is the fun part. The whole bar packs into the truck that drives in from Fullerton the day before.
What a Phoenix hat bar includes
- Blank caps in several styles and colors, chosen with you before the event.
- Patches in your artwork, made ahead so each press takes seconds.
- A styled, photo-ready display that looks right in Old Town Scottsdale or a convention hall downtown.
- Two sets of hands: one crew member at the press, one helping guests choose.
Hat bar questions for Valley events
Do you do felt cowboy hats as well?
No. Shaping, banding and brim-burning felt hats is its own craft, and we don't offer it. Our bar is caps and heat-pressed patches, which suits the Valley anyway: a cap is what people actually wear outside here.
Can the patches use team logos at spring training?
Only if you hold a license for them in writing. Without one, plan on your own brand, the event name or a Valley design. Settle anything questionable before art locks, because custom patches are made ahead and a late redraw is what makes them late.
Why a hat bar for an outdoor summer date?
A heat press runs cooler and simpler than a screen-print station with a flash dryer, and the cap doubles as shade. Summer dates, like a sponsor tent at Westgate or a family day in Chandler, lean that way for both reasons.
